485 exercises, plus your own
Filter the catalogue by muscle group and equipment. If something is missing — a machine only your gym has — add it once and it behaves like any other exercise.
For personal trainers
GymNotes Coach is the trainer's side of GymNotes. Build a program, publish it to your client's phone, and every set they log comes back to you. No spreadsheets, no screenshots in a chat.
The iPhone and Android apps are in review — available soon.

01 — Dictation
Say it out loud — “Monday: bench press four by eight, barbell row three by ten” — and the app transcribes it, finds each exercise in the catalogue and assembles the plan. You check the text, fix anything it misheard, and save.
02 — Publishing
Your client installs GymNotes — the tracker they will actually keep using anyway — and enters your invite code. Every program you publish lands in their app with a notification. Republish and their copy updates; if they have edited it themselves, you are asked first.
03 — Progress
Sets, reps and weights per exercise, plus body measurements, over a month, three months, six months or a year. You see what a client logs from the day they connect — nothing from before that.

Not everyone will install a tracker. They stay in your client list, and you copy the program out as plain text to send however you already talk to them.
Code activated, first workout done, back after a break, a client gone quiet, and a weekly summary. All of them can be switched off.
05 — Pricing
No client limit, no payment. The clients and programs you set up now stay yours — if pricing arrives later, it will not take away what you already built.
06 — Platforms
iPhone, iPad, Android and the web — one account, light and dark themes.
07 — FAQ
No. Your client installs GymNotes and uses it free to follow the program you send and log their sets. GymNotes Coach is free too while we are building it.
The program appears in their GymNotes app as a program they can start, with your name on it. They open a training day, log sets, reps and weight, and that is what comes back to you.
Not automatically — there is no import yet. In practice coaches dictate a program in about a minute, which is usually faster than exporting it from another platform.
No, and that is deliberate. You already talk to your clients somewhere they answer — WhatsApp, Telegram, in the gym. We are not adding one more inbox that nobody checks.
The clients and programs you have set up stay yours. If we introduce paid plans we will say so well ahead of time, and current coaches keep what they already built.
Partly. You can keep a client on your list and copy their program out as plain text to send by message. What you do not get that way is their logged sets — those only come back through the app.
